Privacy Policy
This policy explains in plain language how Rentapa processes information submitted through rentapa.pt.
1. Controller and contact
Rentapa is responsible for processing the information collected on this website. For privacy matters or to exercise your rights, contact geral@rentapa.pt.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, telephone number, email, company, Portuguese tax number (NIF), site address or location, requested dates, chosen machine and description of the work. When you arrive through a campaign, we may also retain technical source parameters such as UTM or gclid to attribute the enquiry correctly.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use this information to assess the request, confirm availability and transport, prepare a quotation, respond to you and, where applicable, take pre-contractual steps requested by you. Optional advertising and website measurement depends on the consent given in the relevant notice.
4. Recipients and suppliers
Information is accessible only to people who need it to respond to the request. It may be processed by technical hosting, form, email and measurement providers under their security and privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up the proposal, normally for up to 12 months. Information linked to contracts, invoices or legal obligations may be retained for the applicable statutory periods.
6. International transfers
Some technology suppliers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the legally required safeguards are used, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability by contacting geral@rentapa.pt. You may also withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing and lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
8. Cookies and measurement
We use Cookiebot to present and store cookie preferences. The Google tag loads with advertising consent denied by default and only enables advertising storage and processing when the visitor permits marketing cookies. Microsoft Clarity loads only when the visitor permits statistical cookies and also receives the applicable advertising-consent signal. It may then collect technical and interaction information such as pages visited, clicks, scrolling, device type, campaign source, journey events and session recordings to help us understand website use, identify friction and assess campaigns. Form fields and other potentially sensitive elements remain hidden in recordings; we do not send names, contact details, addresses, tax numbers or individual enquiry identifiers as Clarity custom tags. If consent is refused or withdrawn, recording and optional measurement remain disabled. The commercial source of an enquiry may also be attached to the form to measure campaign effectiveness. You can review or withdraw consent through the cookie settings available on the website.
9. Security and changes
We apply proportionate measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. This policy may be updated when services or suppliers change; the date above identifies the current version.
